Write or upload your waiver. Golfers accept it before they pay, once per version, and no door code is issued to anyone who has not. You can view and export every acceptance with its date, IP address and the exact text they accepted.

Set a whole-dollar no-show fee. Golfers see the amount and the conditions, and agree to them, before paying, and their card is saved for it. If the door code is never used and nobody checks in, the fee is charged once through your own Stripe account and a receipt is emailed. Off until you set a fee.

If a lock refuses a code, the booking is flagged for staff entry and you are alerted by email and text right away, with the code to enter by hand, instead of a golfer standing at a dead door.
