Can you charge customers to use your launch monitor? What each maker publishes

A launch monitor bought for the garage is not automatically licensed for a paying customer. Some makers say so in their terms; others publish nothing. This page lists only what each maker's own page says, read on 2026-10-18, so you know what to ask in writing before you buy.

We are a booking product, not a reseller. We do not turn launch monitors or simulator software on and off.

The first year of the Premium software license is included with new unit purchases; after that the customer can renew annually. A Subscription Period is 12 months unless the order says otherwise.

Trackman's commercial page says a single-bay commercial setup typically starts around USD 23,995 for the Trackman iO, multi-bay pricing is custom, and all three packages include Virtual Golf 3, Performance Studio and a built-in booking portal. It states no commercial renewal price.

Uneekor

FactSource
Uneekor's commercial-facilities page lists GSPro, E6 Connect and TGC 2019 as supported third-party software and says a separate GSPro license is required, bought from GSPro.
The same page says Uneekor integrates with commercial management platforms such as Alba for bookings, memberships and operations. It names no other platform and lists no commercial prices.
Uneekor's subscription page lists Player (free, with every launch monitor), Pro $199/yr and Champion $399/yr, each per unit billed annually; third-party software needs Pro or higher, and its FAQ gives a GSPro license as $250 annually. It states no commercial-use terms for these tiers.

SkyTrak

FactSource
SkyTrak's terms of use grant the software license "solely for personal, non-commercial use with the registered SKYTRAK device", and list use of the product for commercial, rental or non-consumer purposes among the exclusions. The page is dated August 15, 2025.

Full Swing

FactSource
Full Swing's business page lists indoor golf centers, sports bars, restaurants, hotels and family entertainment centers, with starting prices of $54,900 for the Pro 2.0, $44,900 for the Sport Series, $35,000 for Virtual Green, $4,999 for KIT launch monitors and $11,500 for KIT Studio. It says nothing about software licensing or booking.

Foresight (GCQuad and GC3)

Not verified. Foresight's help centre refused our automated read (HTTP 403) and we could not find its commercial terms on a page we could open, so we publish nothing about them. Ask Foresight in writing whether your GCQuad, its software and your number of bays are licensed for a paying public.

Questions to put in writing

  • Is this exact unit and software tier licensed for commercial use with paying customers, and for how many bays?
  • What does the software cost per bay in year two, not year one?
  • If we use third-party course software, who bills its commercial license, and what does it cost?
  • Does the maker's own booking portal replace third-party booking software, or run beside it? A portal that cannot open a door is not enough for an unstaffed studio.
