How per-booking door codes work: when they start, when they stop, and what happens when they fail
A door code for a 24/7 studio has three timing questions: when is it created, when does it start working, and when does it stop. The vendors answer the last two in their APIs; the first is up to the booking software.

What this means for your door
- Early entry is a choice, not an accident: 10 minutes means a golfer who arrives early is not stuck outside.
- A code that expires with the session is what stops a regular from reusing yesterday's PIN. Test it once: book, wait, try the code after the end.
- Read /door-offline for what each vendor's lock does when the cloud is down before you pick hardware.
