Will a booking tool unlock the door and run the bays, or is it just a calendar?
What a golf simulator studio needs beyond a calendar: door codes, bay status, simulator labels, memberships. What OpenTeeSheet does, and what it does not do yet.

In owners' own words
“None of those will unlock a door or power down a bay, which is usually the whole reason an operator goes looking.”
What it is
A general space-booking tool books a room. A golf simulator studio also has to open the right doors for the booked hour, know whether each bay's PC and launch monitor are alive, tell golfers which simulator is in which bay, and sell memberships and packs of hours. Bolting those on to a calendar is where unstaffed studios spend their evenings.
How OpenTeeSheet does it
| Door codes per booking on igloohome, RemoteLock, Kisi, Seam and Salto KS locks, covering every door on the golfer's path. | Pinned by automated tests: every-door-opens-realdb.test.ts, lock-brands-claim.test.ts |
| Each bay's PC checks in every 5 minutes; after 15 minutes of silence the owner gets an email and a text, and the dashboard shows each bay as in session, next booking, PC online. | Pinned by automated tests: golf-tech-claims.test.ts, golf-tech-iot-realdb.test.ts |
| Each bay can be labelled with its simulator, such as TrackMan, Foresight or Uneekor, and golfers see it when they book. | Pinned by automated tests: answers.test.ts |
| Memberships with included hours that reset each month, and prepaid packs that draw down as the golfer books. | Pinned by automated tests: memberships-realdb.test.ts, packages.test.ts |
Not built or not measured yet
OpenTeeSheet does not switch bay power or launch monitors on and off yet. It reports whether each bay's PC is alive; it does not control it.
What owners report from other tools
General scheduling tools book rooms; guides for this market note they do not unlock doors or control bays.
